AI-Enhanced Resilient, Efficient, and Cyber-Secure Power Management System
The need for secure, affordable and low emissions energy is a key challenge that Australia and the world is facing.
Gold Coast based startup Redx Technologies Australia is working to develop cutting-edge software solutions in collaboration with Griffith University and the National Industry Phd Program to address this challenge.
In July, 4 RedX staff commenced PhDs at Griffith University. The students – Zhi Cai, wang xingyun (Adam), Yifan (Ivan) Yu and Eimar Ibrahimov – are part of a large and long-term collaboration spearheaded by Associate Professor Hui Tian and Professor Alan Liew, with a focus on AI, data science and cyber security.
With access to the latest academic research, RedX has found a different lens through which to examine their work.
“We are in the renewable energy industry. The challenge we’re facing is critical. We see how the electricity market in Australia is struggling through the day,” RedX Chief Scientist Dr Lee Weng said. “Everyone is working hard together to try to create something that is beneficial to society.”
