Before submitting an application, an industry partner and university need to work together to co-design a project for an Industry PhD candidate.
The proposed project could involve one or more PhD students who could be Industry Linked PhDs (students from a university), Industry Researcher PhDs (staff employed by the industry partner) – or a combination of both.
Funding will be awarded to the most compelling projects proposed for this program – and then PhD candidates will be recruited or confirmed.
If an industry partner and university are already collaborating, the company and university can work together to co-develop a potential project for funding under this program.
- If you are a researcher with a compelling research project that could be backed by this program, but don’t yet have an industry partner, we can help to connect you with one.
- If you are a business that wants to host a PhD student to work on a project in your company, we can help you to find a university partner.
To be connected to a potential project partner, please fill in this short Expression of Interest form.
