On September 30, 2024, Andy embarked on his research project titled “Optimising Subsea Gas Pipeline Decommissioning via Real-Time Data Gathering and Innovative Tracking and Communication Technology.” Guided by the expertise of his Monash supervisors, Professor Paul Webley and Associate Professor Nemai Karmakar, Andy will delve into cutting-edge technologies aimed at enhancing the efficiency and safety of subsea pipeline decommissioning—a critical challenge in the energy sector.
