BASE SERIES 2025
Our popular BASE Series is back, refreshed for 2025 with a new suite of content designed to give researchers a thorough grounding in commercialisation, at a level that is appropriate for them.

Our BASE Programs:

COMMERCIALISATION 101

Base Commercialisation 101 will focus on helping researchers identify whether they have an idea with intellectual property (IP) potential and how to take the first steps to explore its viability for commercialisation.

This eight-part webinar, part of the BASE series, assumes no prior commercialisation experience or knowledge. Participants will also have the opportunity to attend four sector-specific commercialisation overviews to broaden their understanding.

Additionally, participants can access our full back catalogue to explore other commercialisation topics from previous years.

Ideal For:

  • Early career researchers
  • PhD students
  • Anyone starting their commercialisation journey and seeking guidance on getting started
2025 Webinars:

Advanced Commercialisation

BASE Advanced narrows the commercialisation focus to specific skills or knowledge that will support a researcher already actively engaging in commercialisation. With a strong emphasis on rounding out their commercialisation knowledge with detail, the webinars will provide multiple case study examples for researchers to augment their own experience.

Additionally, participants can access our full back catalogue to explore other commercialisation topics from previous years.

Ideal For:

Our Advanced series targets researchers—regardless of career stage—who are already on their commercialisation journey and want the skills and understanding to confidently engage in the process.

2025 Webinars:
Introduction Series

BASE Introductions presents challenges and opportunities for research commercialisation and impact in key sectors. To tackle challenges in these areas often require a multidisciplinary approach and close collaboration and understanding of the problems faced by a number of stakeholders. Webinars in the Introductions series are run throughout the year. For those researchers wanting a deeper dive, a subsequent specialist series is then available.

Ideal For:

Early career researchers, PhD students and multiple research disciplines - anyone who wants to help tackle some of the big challenges of our age.
