N&MRC #6 – Designing Research for Public Health Communication Campaigns: Gambling harm in the ACT case study

Public health communications campaigns can benefit from preliminary research to identify opportunities to best make use of limited resources. In this case study, we discuss a project conducted on behalf of the ACT Government to research and develop a strategy for public health communication around gambling harm in the Territory. From a scan of literature and the news coverage, to focus groups and interviews, we will walk you through the steps we took and discuss our final recommendations.
