Campus+ has appointed Ken Mahon as Partner: Victorian Universities. Ken is an experienced professional leader based in Melbourne working in strategic innovation management, new venture creation and support, and translation and commercialisation of research and innovation.
Ken works with a range of early stage ventures as an advisor assisting businesses in developing strategy, execution planning and capital raising. He also mentors through accelerator and incubator programs.

As Director of Ventures at Deakin University Ken was responsible for the commercialisation of University research through new ventures. These included FLAIM Systems, a VR based fire fighter training solution, Universal Motion Simulator delivering armoured driver simulators to the ADF, and Fika Entertainment providing virtual production services for the global media market.
