Innovation Framework
Campus Plus can assist universities to develop their internal strategy framework for the implementation of research commercialization within their institution.
Campus Plus was commissioned by Charles Sturt University to develop its Innovation Framework. Initially a project and IP audit was completed, followed by a review of relevant policies for harmonisation and risk management, then interviews with internal and external stakeholders were completed. This framework allows any current or future portfolio reviews to be assessed as part of this framework and provides direction and new programs to achieve the innovation, commercialisation and professional development objectives of the University. The Framework proposed a number of Key Innovation Priorities, which, when implemented, will enable the University to:
Promote
- Promote and encourage innovation and entrepreneurship
- Identify key programs that will allow organisational change to be rapidly implemented
- Support strategic risk taking and remove the barriers to innovation
Increase
- Increase industry collaboration and repeat engagements
- Increase research income from industry
- Increase talent identification and innovation/invention disclosure
Enhance
- Enhance the Universities global reputation in chosen areas of excellence
- Attract and retain world-class researchers and innovators
- Provide a pathway for commercialisation
